“Our business had grown in number of locations and volume. It had also outgrown our transportation and freight department.
We needed help with rate negotiations, fuel surcharges, a DOT-compliant Bill of Lading, and, most importantly, an interface to our ERP system to streamline creating BOLs. After searching for answers, we entered into an agreement with Noble Choice Logistics, now a part of Global Tranz.
The staff and leadership of Noble Choice Logistics embraced these needs, helping to create an interface from ERP system to their LTL Rater system, which in turn gave us a DOT-compliant BOL for each shipment. Additionally, Noble Choice was able to leverage our freight volume to negotiate very aggressive rates that included a fuel surcharge on a fuel table versus an ‘adjustable rate.’
In addition to these items, Noble Choice provided assistance when carrier performance was lacking and assisted with a process for filing claims shipped via the LTL Rater.
Noble Choice also provided a consolidated weekly billing invoice that was easy to read and process and provided reporting that helped us understand our transportation performance and where improvement could be made.”
